On Friday, June 21st we're hosting acclaimed chef Ford Fry for a preview of his upcoming Nashville outpost of Atlanta seafood haven The Optimist.
Named one of Bon Appétit's Best New Restaurants in 2014, The Optimist brings a seaside fish camp experience using sustainable seafood from the country’s best suppliers. With restaurants spanning the south from Atlanta to Charlotte to Houston, including JCT. Kitchen, No. 246, Superica, King + Duke, St. Cecilia and recently debuted Little Rey, Ford Fry's restaurants have garnered national acclaim, with Fry earning multiple nominations for Outstanding Restaurateur from the James Beard Foundation. Located in Germantown, The Optimist Nashville is slated to open in late summer 2019 along with adjoining cocktail lounge Le Loup and taqueria-inspired music venue Star Rover.
The seafood-loving Optimist and B&B teams are putting together a collaborative menu featuring The Optimist favorites and collaborative dishes - all ideal for sharing and served family style. Reservations are encouraged and can be made via Resy or over the phone, or walk-in any time between 5pm and 11pm. Dinner will be served a la carte.
