One year ago, much of the Butcher & Bee team had the pleasure of eating our way through Israel. Of the many stops we made, one of the most special and memorable was at a small but lively and critically acclaimed wine bar in Tel Aviv, Brut. In September, we're bringing Yair Yosefi and Omer Ben-Gal from Brut Wine Bar over from Tel Aviv to cook with us in both Charleston and Nashville. A favorite among local food and wine aficionados, and one of Eater's 38 Essential Restaurants in Tel Aviv, the intimate, vibrant wine bar serves a small, highly seasonal and inventive menu showcasing off-cuts and pastas, as well as a wine list with hand-picked wines from around the world.
During this special time of year on the Hebrew calendar, we invite you to celebrate the High Holidays with us for this rare collaboration. Dinner will be served a la carte and reservations are recommended; Yair and Omer will be using local Nashville products to make some of their favorite dishes, along with a few collaborative dishes from Brut and chef Bryan Lee Weaver.
